Scientific information visualization is a branch of computer graphics and user interface which is dedicated to present information in a user friendly format
This information usually in the form of images. The goal of this branch is to give more understanding about data being presented in a image format.
This can be understand by the fact when scientists interpret potentially huge quantities of simulated data and get result from sensors to aid hypothesis and build cognition.
The field of data imaging also add some features to the area of visualization. They are many other fields which are dedicated to visitation like computer graphics, human computer interaction , cognitive science, information graphics and cognitive science etc Together they become basic building blocks of scientific information visualization.
Techniques of visualization and Technology
Scientific visualization and computer graphics have lots of common goals and techniques. but there are some difference between these two fields- for example scientific visualisation and deals with the data that are related to the geometric structures such as wind flow and MRI data. information visualization has to deal with graphs and trees data-structure to present data. visual analysis includes scientific investigation in sense making and reasoning.
