Servir-Viz
Servir-Viz helps people to measure sea- surface temperature of Mesoamerica. It uses moderate resolution spectrometer (MODIS) and sea surface SST to predict short-term perdition on sea surface temperature. It provides near real-time, complete spatial coverage data for Mesoamerica. Accurate calculation of sea temperature is essential since it affects species of plankton, sea grasses, shellfish, fish and other animals.
The sea- surface temperature model of servir-viz is based on EOS version and four SST products to generate detailed and spatially continuums sea-surface temperature It also minimizes cloud contamination and latency effects.
Servir-Viz’s sea-surface temperature model is based on day-by-day temperature changes on the sea surface; therefore, SST values may be different The Servir-Viz’s sea-surface temperature model uses spatial and seasonally oceanic temperature; therefore, you may find high frequency changes in SST values. The high frequency changes in SST values can be determined by cloud mask. The Servir-Viz’s sea surface-temperature model uses each pixel within the domain separately for Aqua (1.30 pm/am local time) and terra (10.30 am/pm local time)Satellites each day and night gather sea surface temperatures data and values.
Due to warm sea surface, it increase humidity in the atmosphere and thus it helps weatherman to predict average rainfall for a year. Therefore, it helps weathermen to give early warning on floods and landslides. Therefore, it helps to save earth as well as human resources.
