Using the Servir viz Plug ins
Servir Viz is an interactive 3D mapping software mostly used to observe weather conditions of the earth. However, with number of plug ins. Servir Viz ha number of plug ins that helps user to roam across the world and to visit different places of this world. Along with that, one can also zoom in these places to observer more details with the help several add ons.
Virtual Earth: Virtual earth is an important tool of Servir viz. While using this tool, select between road maps, hybrid map, or an aerial imagery. Virtual earth can also zoom in to the address of an IP address. If you want to do this, click on the Locate Me by IP address. If you click the buttons under Map, you can easily look at various images. In the same way, an address or a business can also be found by using Virtual Earth.
Add/Save Points:
while using this tool, a user should ensure that that from layer manager the layer Add/Save Points is turned on. If you want to see the different options for saving/adding/deleting points, then choose Plug-ins menu under the Add/Save Points, move your cursor to the right side. Here you can see the different options for saving and adding points. If you want to add a point, choose Start Drawing and click your mouse in the preferred area for the point. When adding points is completed, select the Stop Drawing.
If you want to save the points to a file, just click on Save Points. If you have any specified points with regards, you can easily load those points into Servir Viz by selecting Load Points. In the same way, if you want to delete unnecessary points, select Delete Points. This will clear the points inside the Servir Viz only. Your saved point files will not be deleted by this. In addition to, you also have placemarks available under this add/save points functionality. The Placemarks points provided you with convenience in using this tool.

Climate Mapper plug-in for Servir Viz: The Climate Mapper was designed for Servir viz in order to provide project designers access to projections of climate change as well as historical weather data. The data on this resource is available for an area of approximately ½ degree, or about 50km x 50km surrounding the equator. When users click on the map, the tool will display data for the grid cell near the point where users have clicked. It will be displayed as a line graph. This data can also be sent to a spreadsheet application.
NOAA Coral Reef Watch Toolbar: This is one of the resources for Servir Viz. This toolbar is developed in order to provide the recent NOAA CRW datasets into Arc GIS 9.2. However, earlier this was impossible due to the format of the CRW files. A setup file and a half document are also added in the downloadable zip file.
Anaglyph of Mesoamerica (PDF format) poster: This map was designed for the ESRI User Map contest and it works well with blue or red glasses.
